# Save (Solend)

> Decentralized lending protocol with JitoSOL support (Formerly Solend)

JitoSOL is included in UXD's Solend pool. Users can deposit JitoSOL to earn interest, borrow assets against its value, or perform leveraged [staking](https://blog.texture.finance/leveraged_staking_oct22/).

**Important**: This is a permissionless pool and not insured by Solend. It has a higher level of risk. Please understand the [risks of permissionless pools](https://docs.solend.fi/permissionless-pools/risks) before using them.
