We're thrilled to announce that Sonic, the first gaming SVM on Solana, will integrate with Jito's restaking platform for HyperGrid - the infrastructure stack for deploying interoperable SVMs on Solana. This collaboration will bring Jito (Re)staking to two key infrastructures within HyperGrid: the HyperGrid Shared State Network (HSSN) and the HyperGrid Bridge.
Jito (Re)staking's Node Consensus Network (NCN) model will be utilized to enhance the economic security and performance of both the HSSN and the HyperGrid Bridge. For HSSN, it will add an economic security layer for validators to prevent state collisions securely. In the HyperGrid Bridge, it will leverage multi-tiered slashing and customizable staking parameters to improve decentralization and the efficiency of trustless atomic asset swaps between SVMs on Solana.
This partnership marks a significant step forward in the multi-SVM future on Solana. By combining Sonic's gaming-focused SVM with Jito's restaking infrastructure, we're showcasing the potential for enhanced security, efficiency, and customization in the expanding Solana ecosystem.
About Jito (Re)staking:
Jito (Re)staking is a multi-asset staking protocol for Node Consensus Networks. The protocol tokenizes staked assets as Vault Receipt Tokens for enhanced liquidity and composability. Node consensus networks can use Jito (Re)staking to easily customize staking parameters, slashing conditions, and economic incentives to tailor their security and tokenomics.
About Sonic and HyperGrid:
Sonic is the first SVM Gaming Chain, expanding Solana's gaming ecosystem from FOGCs, action-shooters, Web3 casinos and more. It is powered by HyperGrid - an infrastructure stack for deploying interoperable SVMs on Solana, powering a shared state network for building an interchain SVM future.
